Jenny Morris is an associate in the firm’s Products Litigation and Counseling practice and is a member of the firm’s Life Sciences Disputes group. Ms. Morris’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation and regulatory compliance advice for consumer products companies. She represents clients in products liability and mass torts cases, consolidated actions, arbitrations, multidistrict litigation, and individual cases in state and federal court. She has experience working on matters involving a variety of different products, including those in the pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, construction, and medical device industries.
Ms. Morris’s additional legal practice area is Antitrust & Competition. Her practice focuses on helping companies obtain clearance for proposed transactions from the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission. Ms. Morris’s relevant experience includes advising clients in complying with in-depth merger review investigations (Second Requests) before the U.S. antitrust authorities, notably including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Lahey Health System, New England Baptist Hospital, Mount Auburn Hospital, and Seacoast Regional Health System in their $5+ billion merger to create Beth Israel Lahey Health. Approvals were required from both the FTC and multiple state-level agencies, including the Office of the Attorney General of Massachusetts. The Boston Globe described this combination as “the most significant health care deal in Massachusetts” in decades.
Ms. Morris also maintains a diverse and active pro bono practice, which includes representing Veterans in disability benefits appeals in the Court of Veterans Appeals, working with the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs to represent LGBTQ+ tenants in housing discrimination cases, and representing clients at a variety of stages in Immigration Appeals.
