Mario Nobrega joined Goodwin in 2021 as a Paralegal in the firm’s Private Investment Funds practice and Technology group, where he assists our lawyers with various aspects of fund formation and closings. In this role, he focuses on complementing legal knowledge and experience with his industry expertise to provide world class services to our clients that reach beyond the boardroom or the courtroom.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Nobrega worked as a Senior Analyst for the private markets group at Wilshire Advisors LLC (previously known as Wilshire Associates Incorporated), where he assisted the private markets team and attorneys manage funds-of-funds throughout the funds’ lifecycle, from formation through deal execution, secondary sale and dissolution. Mr. Nobrega also assisted to close Wilshire’s acquisition by CC Capital and Motive Partners during the due diligence cycle and with various matters in connection with the deal.Mr. Nobrega holds a Paralegal Studies Certificate and a B.A. in Philosophy from University of California, Los Angeles, where he enjoyed tutoring logic and assisting other students in the Philosophy department.
