Spencer Perkins

Spencer Perkins is an associate in the Real Estate Industry group and a member of its Private Investment Funds practice at Goodwin. He started at the firm in 2020. Mr. Perkins represents clients with respect to a variety of investment management, private investment fund and other financial services matters. He focuses his practice on the structuring, formation and ongoing representation of an array of domestic and offshore private investment funds, in addition to serving a wide range of real estate clients in forming partnerships, joint ventures and other transaction structures.

Mr. Perkins is admitted to practice in New York only; his application to the D.C. bar is pending. His practice is supervised by D.C.-admitted lawyers at Goodwin.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Perkins was an associate in the private funds group of a large law firm, where he had a general investment management practice with an emphasis on the representation of hedge fund and venture capital fund sponsors in connection with a broad range of issues, including fund formation, investor admittance and ongoing regulatory compliance and operational matters.
