Ms. Pesenson’s Private Investment Funds practice focuses on representing sponsors in the formation of private funds, ongoing fund management, organizing fund manager and sponsor entities, advising fund managers and sponsors in establishing internal operating policies, representing funds and investors in the preparation and negotiation of fund formation and investment documents, restructuring the terms of existing investments funds, and related securities law compliance matters.
Ms. Pesenson’s Real Estate Industry practice focuses on representing clients in a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including complex joint ventures and asset-level and entity-level acquisitions and dispositions.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Ms. Pesenson was Chief Compliance Officer for an investment firm. Prior to law school, she worked at J.P. Morgan in the Global Emerging Markets group.
While attending law school, Ms. Pesenson was associate notes editor for the Cardozo Public Law, Policy & Ethics Journal.
In her third year, she was a recipient of the Alexander Fellowship and served as junior law clerk to Honorable Joseph A. Greenaway, Jr. on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Newark, NJ.
