Ms. Bouchot is a member of the American Bar Association, and a member of the ABA’s Labor and Employment Law Section. Ms. Bouchot is also a member of the Hispanic National Lawyer's Association, Women’s Lawyer’s Association of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County Association.
Christina Queiros Bouchot
Christina Queiros Bouchot is counsel in the firm’s Labor and Employment practice. Ms. Bouchot advises and represents employers in a broad range of employment matters and provides employment expertise on various corporate transactions.
Ms. Bouchot handles employment-related litigation (including wage and hour class actions and whistleblowing and retaliation matters) before state and federal courts and agencies. She counsels clients on employment-related issues, such as employee discipline and termination, large-scale reductions-in-force, sexual harassment and other discrimination matters, development of well-crafted personnel policies, compliance with wage and hour and classification regulations, and the development and enforcement of employee noncompetition and confidentiality agreements.
Ms. Bouchot supports the firm’s transactional practice by advising on employment-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions and by drafting and negotiating executive employment agreements, noncompetition agreements, separation agreements, on-boarding documents and other critical employment-related documents.
Ms. Bouchot joined Goodwin in 2008, and has had the unique opportunity to have practiced in the firm’s Boston, New York and Los Angeles offices.
