Ms. Quintana has represented California and national employers in single-plaintiff disputes regarding a broad range of issues, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, breach of contract, wrongful termination, unpaid wages, and trade secrets misappropriation.This includes conducting pre-litigation investigations, responding to complaints, drafting dispositive motions, and discovery management. She has also defended employers before the National Labor Relations Board in connection with unfair labor practices claims. Ms. Quintana does day-to-day counseling on a broad range of employment contexts, including recruitment and hiring; performance management; terminations; restrictive covenants; managing employee leaves and accommodation requests; drafting employment agreements, policies and procedures; and compliance with various local, state and federal employment laws. She has also conducted sexual harassment trainings and leaves of absence seminars. Ms. Quintana also provides employment-related transactional support by conducting employment-related diligence and providing advice on the employment-related aspects of corporate mergers and acquisitions.
Ms. Quintana is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco.
Prior to Goodwin, Ms. Quintana was an associate at Fenwick & West and Gordon & Reese. She was also previously an extern for California Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye.
