Garrett Rider is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Private Equity group.
During law school, Mr. Rider served as Vice President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association and as a Staff Member of the University of North Carolina First Amendment Law Journal.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Rider was an associate at King & Spalding LLP in Atlanta, Georgia, where he represented public and private companies, private equity funds and their portfolio companies in a wide range of corporate matters, including significant acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic transactions, financings and general corporate governance.
