Prior to joining Goodwin, Dr. Rodriguez was a patent agent at a leading firm specializing in intellectual property law, where she drafted and prosecuted patent applications and conducted freedom-to-operate, noninfringement, and invalidity analyses.
Dr. Rodriguez was also an Associate Research Specialist and Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of California, San Francisco, in the laboratory of Michael Bishop, where she investigated the role of stem cell differentiation factors in breast and lung cancer and mammary gland development.
She also worked as an instructor for Molecular Biology and Physiology at UC Berkeley and as a Physiology and Cancer Biology instructor at the University of San Francisco.
