Catherine Rutley

Catie Rutley is an associate in the firm’s Litigation department. She joined Goodwin in 2022.

Catie was a summer associate at Goodwin in 2021 and worked as a law clerk in the firm’s Litigation department as a third-year law student.

During law school, Catie served as a judicial intern to Judge Juan R. Torruella of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Catie also served as an Articles Editor for the Boston University Law Review, as a student attorney for the BU/MIT Technology Law Clinic, and as an Appellate Advocacy Director for the Boston University moot court competition.

Prior to law school, Catie served as a Legislative Director in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.

Catie was awarded the Top Women of Law Leadership Scholarship by the Massachusetts Bar Association in 2021.
