Ms. Schwartz represents clients in complex civil litigation before state and federal courts and administrative tribunals. Her practice includes the representation of large financial institutions in securities fraud litigation relating to mortgage-backed securities and in several putative nationwide class actions challenging certain insurance practices.
Ms. Schwartz has also been actively involved in a variety of pro bono work, including representing a citizen of Uganda seeking political asylum in the United States and an indigent client in a federal criminal prosecution for drug conspiracy charges.
Ms. Schwartz is a member of the Boston and Massachusetts Bar Associations.
Following law school, Ms. Schwartz served as a law clerk for the Honorable Christopher F. Droney of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
While attending law school, Ms. Schwartz was an executive editor for the Connecticut Law Review.
