Representative litigation matters include:
- Manufacturing Resources Int’l, Inc. v. Civiq Smartscapes, LLC et al. (D. Del.): Representing defendants against claims of patent infringement relating to digital outdoor displays.
- Samba TV v. Alphonso Inc. (N.D. Cal.) and Alphonso Inc. v. Samba TV (D. Del.): Representing Alphonso in competitor patent infringement and Lanham Act disputes on technology relating to digital ad campaigns on TVs and mobile devices. Achieved summary judgment of non-infringement on behalf of Alphonso in N.D. Cal. litigation, and successfully prevented institution of an IPR directed against an Alphonso patent.
- Touchstream Techs., Inc. v. Vizbee, Inc. (S.D.N.Y.): Representing Vizbee in defense of a patent infringement lawsuit related to screen casting technology.
During law school, Ms. Scripa interned with the Anti-Terrorism and National Security Unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts and worked at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. In addition, she served as editor-in-chief for the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology and was involved with Harvard’s Cyberlaw Clinic.
Prior to law school, Ms. Scripa worked in software engineering at Microsoft.
