Mr. Smith’s work focuses on real estate transactions.
Highlights of his recent work include:
- Zoning analysis for properties in a 58 building office park portfolio valued at over $400 million.
- Assisting in drafting a Letter of Intent for a majority ownership stake in three trophy office buildings in Boston and New York City.
- Drafting closing documents for the $54 million sale of a residential development.
- Analyzing agreements for the renovation of ten historic buildings and construction of a new 200 unit residential tower comprising most of a city block in Chicago’s Fulton Market area.
Mr. Smith is a member of the Boston Bar Association.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Smith was a junior architect at a New York City architecture firm, and worked on development projects and master plans across the northeastern U.S. and India. Mr. Smith then earned a Masters of Regional Planning in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University, with a concentration in Land Use and Environmental Planning. Mr. Smith is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
