Mr. Stateman holds a B.A. in Chinese and Biochemistry / Molecular Biology with concentrations in protein structural biochemistry and embryonic morphogenesis. Subsequent to his undergraduate studies, he worked in Shenzhen, China in manufacturing and product development and in Washington, D.C. as a clinical biochemist researching human sensory disorders. While studying at Stanford Law School, he was President of the Stanford China Law and Policy Association and worked in a business development and policy role at a drone startup. He has published nine original research papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and holds a private pilot license.
William "Wynn" Stateman
Wynn Stateman is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Life Sciences group. His representation of start-up and later stage companies spans the entire corporate life cycle, including formation matters, venture capital financings, SEC reporting and compliance, licensing and commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate representation and counseling. His clients are in the life sciences, biotechnology, medical device and pharmaceutical industries.
