Stephanie M. Toribio is a department attorney in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of the Real Estate Industry group with a focus on commercial leasing and transactional work, representing landlords, tenants, investors and developers of real estate.

Ms. Toribio is involved in Goodwin’s PropTech Initiative, which is focused on supporting the intersection of Real Estate and Technology.

Ms. Toribio is also involved in Goodwin’s PropSci practice, which focuses on the intersection of Real Estate and Life Sciences.

Experience

Recent leasing transactions include representation of landlords of high-rise office and lab buildings and various tenants from nonprofits, start-ups and technology companies in Boston, Cambridge, and Waltham. Recent representative transactions include:

  • Representing several early-stage biotech companies with leases in Boston, Cambridge, Waltham, and Lexington
  • Representing a real estate startup with member agreements for a network of furnished apartments across the U.S.

Professional Activities

During law school, Ms. Toribio interned for the Honorable O. Rogeriee Thompson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. She also served as Editor-in-Chief of Suffolk's Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy.

Ms. Toribio is a member of the Boston Bar Association for Massachusetts.

Ms. Toribio regularly volunteers with Project Citizenship, an organization that assists permanent residents on their journey to U.S. citizenship.
