Prior to joining Goodwin in 2018, Mr. Uhr was at Kenyon & Kenyon LLP, which eventually became Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP.
William Uhr is an associate in Goodwin’s Litigation Department and a member of its Intellectual Property group.
Mr. Uhr focuses his practice on patent litigation matters and has experience litigating patent disputes before federal district courts, the International Trade Commission, and the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board, as well as litigating intellectual property ownership disputes before state courts. He advises clients on matters involving diverse technologies, including signal processing, digital video recording, electronic controls, semiconductor fabrication, mechanical toys, food-additive compositions, surface coating compositions, suspension bridge construction, and laser finishing of fabrics.
Mr. Uhr also has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications, as well as preparing opinions, in the electrical, mechanical, and software arts.
