Dimitrios Valkanas

Dimitrios Valkanas is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department.

Prior to joining Goodwin in a full-time capacity, Dimitrios completed his law studies at McGill University Faculty of Law, where he obtained a dual Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor degree. During his studies at McGill, Dimitrios was a senior editor at the McGill Law Journal.

Prior to graduating from McGill, Dimitrios worked as a summer associate at Goodwin’s New York office over the summer of 2021, in addition to completing a year-long placement as a legal intern at Éducaloi, a legal non-profit organization in Montreal, Quebec.

Dimitrios was awarded the Justice Andromache Karakatsanis Scholarship by the Hellenic Canadian Lawyers’ Association for the year 2020/2021.
