Knowledge Management Lawyer
TJ Wells focuses on knowledge management and practice innovation for Goodwin’s Private Investment Funds practice. He has extensive experience with the structuring, formation, and operation of private investment funds and has served investment managers throughout his career, both in private practice and in-house. Mr. Wells has been a panelist for several New York Continuing Legal Education programs on regulatory issues facing private fund managers. He has also represented clients in pro bono immigration matters and received the Jeremy G. Epstein Award from the City Bar Justice Center in 2010.
Areas of Practice
Prior to joining Goodwin in 2020, Mr. Wells served as an Assistant General Counsel at J.P. Morgan, focusing on private equity and hedge fund structuring. Prior to that, he was an associate at Skadden.
