Christine Whitehead joined Goodwin in 2021 as Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition — Legal. In this role, she is responsible for managing the firm’s partner recruitment efforts and works closely with the Managing Director Talent Acquisition — Lateral Partner Recruiting, to execute the firm’s recruitment strategy.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Christine was a Partner Recruiting & Integration Manager at Hogan Lovells where she managed the full life-cycle recruitment of partner and counsel candidates for the firm’s US offices and supported strategic initiatives undertaken by the Office of the CEO. She worked closely with Practice Group Leaders to identify hiring priorities and develop and implement effective recruitment strategies. Christine worked with the Head of Partner Integration to develop and implement a global integration program and designed and implemented a global onboarding and orientation program.

Christine has been a speaker at NALP and NALSC conferences on topics ranging from interviewing techniques and best practices, lateral firm questionnaire perspectives, onboarding and integration methodologies, to data collection and analysis. She has authored articles on law firm mergers best practices and partnering with business development.

Professional Activities

Christine currently serves on the NALSC Advisory Committee and is also a Vice Chair, Experienced Professionals Section-Knowledge Management Work Group for the NALP (2020-Present). She also previously served as Vice Chair, Recruiting Section-Lateral Hiring Work Group for the NALP from 2019-2020.

Christine is an active member of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants (NALSC), the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) and the Washington Area Legal Recruitment Administrators Association (WALRAA).
