Goodwin Procter partner Minta Kay, a member of the firm’s Real Estate Capital Markets Group, was recently quoted in a Law360 article about the hurdles license applicants face as New York’s gambling regulators seek to speed up the state’s long-delayed casino plans.
Regulators have set forth an unusually short application review process set to begin later this month. If they stick to the schedule, license hopefuls face at least three major hurdles to closing their deals quickly, according to Kay.
