The Arizona Attorney General announced that it filed suit against a foreclosure consulting company, alleging that the company violated the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act. The complaint claims that the company and its owners made material misrepresentations to its consumers, failed to disclose material information, failed to provide services for which consumers paid, and generally engaged in unfair trade acts and practices. The Arizona Attorney General first learned about these alleged practices from customer complaints filed with the Attorney General’s office.
