Global Trade – Junior/Mid-Level Associate

Job Details

Goodwin seeks a highly qualified Junior or Mid-Level Associate with 2-3 years of experience to join our Global Trade practice. The candidate should have experience counseling clients (ideally in the technology, life sciences and private equity industries) on a broad range of U.S. regulatory issues involving international trade and investment, including exports of controlled goods and services, cross-border investments, defense articles and services, and transactions involving sanctioned countries, persons, and entities. The ideal candidate will have experience with one or more of the following areas: economic sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), the Outbound Investment Security Program (OISP), and the DOJ’s Data Security Program (DSP).

Candidates applying for associate positions with Goodwin should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required.
