The firm hires talented, motivated people committed to excellence, innovation, collaboration and client service and believes that every lawyer and staff member deserves a supportive, meritocratic environment in which people of all backgrounds are given the opportunity to excel and thrive. Our growing London office is home to more than 200 lawyers who provide an integrated legal service offering across offices and geographies.

Litigation at Goodwin
The resolution of corporate disputes and the management of risk, whether through litigation or alternative dispute resolution, is a vital part of the work of today’s business world. Increased globalisation has seen significant growth in cross-border disputes that demand sophisticated and experienced advice to resolve. In addition, the increasing focus on regulation and compliance has led to a growing need for lawyers to deal with investigations and associated issues.

Our litigation practice is innovative and market leading in the US. As part of our continued growth in Europe, we established a London based disputes team around four years ago. That team has quickly developed an excellent reputation in the market and is working on some high profile and cutting edge matters. As a result we are continuing to build the team to service the needs of our clients around the globe.

The Role
Oliver Glynn-Jones heads up the Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, alongside Sarah McAtominey. As part of the continued growth of the practice. Mark Beardsworth recently joined the team to build our London White Collar Defence and Investigations offering.

Given the desire to continue to build and develop the Litigation bench strength, we are currently looking to make two additional associate hires. One hire will be at the junior level, and will be a general resource for the team, working across both Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution and White Collar Defence. The second hire will be at the mid-senior level and will focus predominantly on Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as it looks to expand.
