Goodwin seeks a highly qualified mid-level associate with 3 - 5 years of experience to join the FinTech practice of its Financial Industry group. The work is focused on regulatory counseling on consumer and small business financial products and services, including all credit types, deposits, payments, and alternative lending arrangements (e.g., earned wage access, merchant cash advances, factoring, income share agreements). The position also will support enforcement and litigation and transactional teams from a financial regulatory perspective. Candidate should have a background in regulatory practice and a deep knowledge of the federal and state laws and regulations that apply to these products and services.
Candidates applying for associate positions with Goodwin should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required.
