Goodwin’s Life Sciences team does extensive work with innovators in the rare disease space. In recognition of Rare Disease Day and participation in the National Organization for Rare Disorders’ (NORD) Rare Disease Day campaign to raise awareness, Goodwin’s Boston, DC, Silicon Valley and Santa Monica offices were lit in rare disease colors: green, blue, pink and purple. Partners and members of Goodwin’s Life Sciences Regulatory & Compliance team, Julie Tibbets and Matt Wetzel will host a networking lunch and series of fireside chats with CEO/Co-Founders of a rare disease drug company, a life sciences real estate leader who is also a patient advocate, and a government affairs policy leader on March 1st in Boston. The leaders will discuss what inspires them, what challenges continue to face the rare disease community and rare disease patients, the work ahead in the global effort against rare disease and what can be done to help. The fireside chats will be simultaneously streamed online.
