Survey of Fortune 1000 companies finds Goodwin Procter a leader in client focus and understanding clients’ businesses
BOSTON, Dec. 6, 2007 – In a recent survey conducted by the BTI Consulting Group, Goodwin Procter LLP was named one of the top law firms in the nation for providing client service. The BTI Consulting Group supplies strategic information to the legal services industry.
The BTI Consulting Group survey of Fortune 1000 companies found Goodwin Procter as a leader in client focus and understanding clients’ businesses. Each year the BTI Consulting Group compiles its annual “Survey of Client Service Performance for Law Firms: The BTI Client Service A-Team.” This marks Goodwin Procter’s third appearance in the “BTI Client Service 30” in the past five years.
In addition, William P. Mayer, a partner in the firm’s business law department in Boston, was selected as one of the “BTI Client Service All-Stars.” The All-Stars are comprised of 148 attorneys chosen by corporate counsel and key decision makers as providing exceptional client service.
The survey, which was developed to single out those law firms have differentiated themselves through superior client service, measures corporate counsels’ satisfaction with their law firms across a broad range of issues.
