Goodwin has added the former general counsel of private equity firm Gurnet Point Capital to bolster its life sciences and healthcare practice groups. Adam Dilluvio joins as a partner in Goodwin's New York office, the global firm announced Monday. "I am incredibly excited to join the Goodwin team and help bolster what is already a tremendously deep and talented bench of life science and healthcare attorneys," Dilluvio told Law360 Pulse in an emailed statement Tuesday. "When I ultimately decided to return to private practice, it was immediately very clear to me that Goodwin was the ideal platform to leverage my prior experience and skill set." Dilluvio added that "as a general counsel in the life science investment space, I was uniquely situated to appreciate the complexities and challenges facing industry participants day in and day out. Life sciences and healthcare, perhaps more so than any other industries, can be especially dynamic and competitive," he said.
