“Technology is at the heart of our ability to deliver exceptional value to our clients and stakeholders,” said Mary O’Carroll. “We are thrilled to welcome Eric, whose deep expertise and visionary leadership will be instrumental in accelerating our digital evolution. There he scaled IT and cybersecurity operations, advanced AI adoption as co-chair of the AI & Data Protection Committee, and helped the company grow to serve thousands of communities.

Prior to that, Eric was the first Chief Information Officer at Coupa Software, where he led the technology function through a period of explosive growth; scaling from $80M to $1B, guiding the company through its IPO and integrating 13 acquisitions, before ultimately supporting Coupa’s $8B sale to Thoma Bravo. Earlier in his career, Eric spent 17 years in consulting, including 13 years at PwC, where he founded the firm’s Cloud Computing and Digital Trust practices.

Eric is known for his ability to lead through influence, drive organizational change, and build strong cross-functional partnerships. His experience spans high-growth SaaS, cyber security and professional services, and he has consistently delivered results by reimagining ways of working through automation, data, AI, and collaboration technologies.
