Goodwin Expands Healthcare Team (Law360)

A healthcare attorney specializing in guiding clients through regulatory and transactional matters has moved her practice to Goodwin's Philadelphia office after more than 11 years with her previous firm. Nicole Aiken-Shaban has been welcomed to Goodwin as a partner in the Healthcare practice in the Philadelphia office, the firm announced Thursday. Aiken-Shaban told Law360 Pulse during an interview Thursday that Goodwin's resources in all aspects of the healthcare industry made the firm the right fit for her growing practice. "Goodwin has the premier platform to serve my practice where it stands right now," Aiken-Shaban said. "They have a dedicated bench which provides transactional and regulatory support for the full spectrum of healthcare clients' needs. It allows us to get embedded pretty early with clients and build long-lasting partnerships with them." Aiken-Shaban said leveraging the talent and experience across Goodwin's practices and offices serves her clients beyond their regulatory needs and supports all their operational goals. Chris Wilson, co-chair of Goodwin's Healthcare practice, said in a statement that adding Aiken-Shaban to the Philadelphia office is an example of the firm's commitment to attract the best talent. "Nicole is a highly regarded leader in the healthcare industry who is trusted by prominent healthcare companies and investors to guide them through a rapidly evolving and challenging regulatory environment," Wilson said.
