Goodwin has added to its Private Equity practice in its Investment Funds group. Olya Kurilovich is based in New York, Goodwin said in its announcement Tuesday. "I was drawn to Goodwin by the strength of its investment funds and private equity practices, which aligns perfectly with the work I would like to continue doing," she told Law360 Pulse. "The firm's clear strategic vision for future growth and success made it obvious to me that joining Goodwin is the right next step in my career." Kurilovich advises clients on the formation and operation of private investment funds across the private debt, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure sectors, as well as emerging markets. She also advises sponsors and investors on strategic transactions, internal arrangements, complex secondary deals, and fund restructurings. "The private capital market continues to evolve rapidly, and sponsors are launching increasingly sophisticated funds and vehicles," Eric Goldstein, partner at Goodwin, said in a statement. "Olya brings the insight and experience to help us capture growing fundraising and spin-off opportunities while continuing to build our funds platform in New York."
