On Tuesday, April 7, Goodwin announced the addition of Andrew N. Goldman and Benjamin W. Loveland as partners in its Financial Restructuring practice. New York-based Goldman, who will be co-chair of Goodwin's global Financial Restructuring group, brings more than 30 years of experience advising clients across the restructuring landscape, including public and private company debtors, boards of distressed companies, creditors' committees, lenders, and institutional investors. His practice spans both in-court and out-of-court restructurings, including cross-border matters, bankruptcy-related litigation, and corporate advisory work. He's worked on a wide range of complex restructuring situations, representing stakeholders such as debtor-in-possession lenders, bondholders, indenture trustees, and acquirers, and is known for his experience in navigating high-profile and multifaceted insolvency proceedings. Boston-based Loveland focuses on representing companies, creditors, and debt investors in Chapter 11 proceedings and other restructuring situations. His practice includes advising debtors, lenders, noteholders, and trustees in large and complex bankruptcy cases, as well as handling distressed asset sales and cross-border insolvency matters. He also advises clients on pre-investment diligence and transaction structuring in distressed situations, including matters involving the intersection of bankruptcy and intellectual property law.
