Goodwin Guides EMZ on the Financing of Their Acquisition of Minority Stake in STUV

Goodwin is advising EMZ Partners (EMZ) on the financing of their acquisition of a significant minority stake in Steinbach & Vollmann (STUV). CEO Andreas Kupka and the management team will continue to lead the company in its next phase of growth. All existing active shareholders will also reinvest alongside EMZ, reflecting their confidence in STUV's growth strategy.

EMZ is a leading European investment firm with offices in Paris, Munich, and Amsterdam. The firm focuses on small-to-medium-sized companies and offers flexible capital solutions in strong partnerships with founders, family shareholders, and managers. EMZ is majority-owned by its employees and has a base of European institutional investors. Its investment size ranges from 40 to 200 million euros.

Steinbach & Vollmann (STUV) is a global provider of high-security locking and access solutions headquartered in Heiligenhaus, Germany. Founded in 1883, the company develops and manufactures products for correctional facilities, critical infrastructure, and industrial applications.
