Lara Alkarim

Lara Alkarim is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Private Equity group.

Lara specializes in advising financial sponsors and their portfolio companies in complex large scale and middle-market mergers and acquisitions transactions, including leveraged buyouts, divisional carve-outs, divestitures, joint ventures, leveraged recapitalizations, capital restructurings, and majority and minority investments. Lara has also counseled private equity funds and corporate clients on matters related to corporate governance and equity arrangements.

Lara has participated in successful transactions in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, medical technology, information technology, life sciences, manufacturing, education, insurance and home services.
