Amine Assouad specializes in corporate law with a particular emphasis on technology and life science. He advises emerging-growth and global technology and biotechnology companies, as well as private investment firms and investment banks focusing on such companies, in connection with mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, venture capital financings, and securities offerings and listings on major stock exchanges. Amine has also represented sponsors on fund formation matters and institutional investors with respect to limited partner investments.
Amine has both civil and common law backgrounds and has practiced law in Europe (London and Paris), the Middle East and the United States.
Prior to private practice, Amine worked as legal counsel for the World Bank in Washington DC. Amine is admitted to practice in New York, Paris, and Beirut only. He is working under the supervision of the partners at Goodwin.
