Austin Church is an associate in Goodwin’s Business Law department and a member of its Life Sciences group. He joined Goodwin in 2023. Austin represents both public and private companies and underwriters in the biotechnology industry.
Austin’s practice covers the corporate cycle, with a focus on private financings through IPOs and public financings. He also counsels clients on a variety of corporate matters, including securities law compliance and corporate governance.

- Represented the underwriters in connection with BlackSky Technology Inc.’s $185 million Rule 144A convertible note sale
- Represented BofA Securities Inc., and other underwriters in connection with Metsera Inc.’s $275 million initial public offering
- Represented MBX Biosciences Inc. in its $187.7 million upsized initial public offering
During his time at Boston University School of Law, he was a member of the Boston University Law Review. He also served as a Note Editor on the Law Review.
He was a member of the BU/MIT Startup Law clinic during his time at Boston University School of Law, helping provide free legal services to student entrepreneurs.
