Andrew Daniels is an associate in Goodwin’s Private Equity group. His practice is principally focused on representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in complex domestic and cross-border business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, equity restructurings and growth equity and venture capital investments, as well as related general corporate counseling. Andrew has worked on transactions in a variety of industries, including technology and software, fintech, digital assets, renewables and clean energy, health care, and business services.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Andrew was an M&A/PE associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

  • Gryphon Investors in its sale of Potter Electric Signal Company to KKR.*
  • Power & Digital Infrastructure Acquisition II Corp. (a special purpose acquisition company) in its business combination with Montana Technologies LLC, developer of AirJoule™, a transformational renewable energy and cooling technology.*
  • TPG Rise Climate as lead investor in a $250 million Series C financing round for Ohmium International, a leading green hydrogen company that designs, manufactures, and deploys advanced proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer systems.*
  • Banner Ventures Management on its co-lead investment in a Series B financing round in MANSCAPED, the global men’s lifestyle consumer brand and male grooming category creator.*
  • Thoma Bravo in its $130 million Series D financing round for Alma, a membership-based network that helps independent mental health care providers.*
  • Thoma Bravo in its investment in Starburst Data, a provider of data access and data analytics.*
  • Thoma Bravo as an investor in a $150 million Series D financing round in FalconX, a digital assets platform for institutional investors.*
  • Aterian Investment Partners in its acquisition of ATCO Industries, Inc., a leading quality containment and warehousing services provider.*
  • Thoma Bravo in its $85 million growth equity investment in Personetics, the leading global provider of financial-data-driven personalization and customer engagement solutions for banks and financial services providers.*
