Simon Fulbrook is a partner in Goodwin’s Private Equity group. Simon’s experience spans all areas of leveraged finance, including private equity-backed leveraged buyouts, management buyouts and buy-ins, corporate M&A and recapitalisations, acquisitions, funds, and real estate finance. He represents private equity firms, portfolio and other companies and lenders in the financial institutions, life sciences, healthcare, and other sectors.

He joined Goodwin in 2015.

  • Partners Group and its portfolio company Emeria Group, on the acquisition of Chestertons UK, one of London’s largest and oldest estate agents
  • ECI Partners
    • on its sale of 4Ways, a leading UK tele-diagnostic company, to Evidia, a leading radiology and radiotherapy services provider backed by EQT Infrastructure
    • acting through ECI 11 LP, on the acquisition of Avantia Insurance, a virtual home and property insurance provider trading as ‘HomeProtect’
  • Accel-KKR
    • on its bolt-on acquisition via an indirect portfolio company, Navtor, of Voyager a navigation services and solutions provider primarily operating in the shipping space 
    • on its investment in Ocuco, a leading provider of omnichannel software solutions to the global eyecare market
    • on its investment in PayProp, a leading processor of rental payments for the property management industry
    • on its acquisition of StoreForce, an SAAS company providing a simple, unified solution for retail workforce management
    • on a significant growth investment in Masabi, the ticketing innovations company
  • Mayfair Equity Partners
    • on its acquisition of TrustedHousesitters, a category-defining, subscription-based pet-sitting and travel community, from Rockpool Investments
    • on its sale of Talon Outdoor, provider of marketing and outdoor advertising services, to Equistone Partners Europe
    • on its investment in Tangle Teezer, a global haircare brand, valuing the company at more than £70 million
  • IK Partners on its acquisition of International Correspondence Schools, an online learning provider
  • Frazier Healthcare Partners and Thomas H. Lee Partners, acting through their portfolio company CSafe Globalon the acquisition of Softbox Systems, an international provider of temperature control packaging to the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Softbox supplies Pfizer with the ultra-low temperature controlled parcel shipper required in the distribution of its COVID-19 vaccines
  • Bregal Milestone on its investment in Redstor, a category-leading data management and SaaS protection company headquartered in the UK
  • EBITDA Investments on its co-investment alongside Bain Capital Credit in relation to the acquisition of Gail’s Bakery, a popular UK bakery chain
  • Active Partners on its £10 million growth equity investment in Facetheory, a UK based affordable skincare brand
  • Levine Leichtman Capital Partners on its investment in Prime Global Medical Communications Ltd. in partnership with its founder and management team
  • Behrman Capital-backed Emmes on its investment in Orphan Reach, a global Clinical Research Organisation specialised in rare diseases
  • Wavecrest Growth Partners, along with co-investor Abry Partners, on its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Pole Star Space Applications, a SaaS provider of regulatory and compliance maritime technology servicing a range of financial institutions, governments, and shipping companies
  • Graphite Capital
    • on its acquisition of Storal Learning, one of the highest-quality nursery operators in the UK
    • on its acquisition of Opus Talent Solutions, an international recruitment business specialising in the technology and renewable energy markets
    • on its £428 million sale of U-POL, an automotive repair and refinishing products provider, to Axalta Coating Systems
  • LDC on its acquisition of Wifinity, a Gigabit Internet Service Provider, with products and services connecting over 6 million people a year
  • Antin Infrastructure Partners on its acquisition of Pulsant, a nationwide provider of data centre and cloud infrastructure in the UK
  • Queens Park Equity on its leveraged acquisition of Sagacity Group, a London-based IT consultancy company
  • Halo Technology, a portfolio company of Inflexion Private Equity, on its acquisition of Solid Optics, a global provider of compatible transceivers, high-speed cabling, and multiplexers
