Calsy is an associate in the firm’s Private Equity group. She advises private equity sponsors, growth equity and buyout funds, family offices, and other institutional investors, as well as portfolio and other private companies. Her work spans leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, minority and growth investments, divestitures, joint ventures, secondary transactions, private tender offers, and general corporate and governance matters.
Calsy joined Goodwin in 2024. During her second year, Calsy was chosen for a secondment with Sands Capital, a Virginia-based registered investment adviser, where she supported deal execution, investment fund formation work and vendor contract management.

Professional Experience
While attending law school, Calsy served as a law clerk for Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Commissioner Kristin N. Johnson and was a legal intern with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement in the Complex Financial Instruments Unit. Calsy also served as a judicial intern for Judge Margaret A. Chan in the Commercial Law Division of the New York State Supreme Court. She served as the Executive Notes Editor of the George Washington International Law Review and received the President’s Bronze Volunteer Service Award and University Pro Bono Honors for her commitment to pro bono work.
Prior to law school, Calsy interned in the financial services industry, specializing in private wealth management.
