William Hubbard
Billy Hubbard is an associate in Goodwin’s Life Sciences practice. Billy advises emerging growth and public life sciences companies, venture capital funds, and other institutional investors in connection with venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and other strategic transactions. He also counsels clients on company formations, corporate governance, and general corporate matters.
Billy is admitted to practice in New York only. He is working under the supervision of the partners at Goodwin.
Previous Professional Experience
Prior to joining Goodwin, Billy served as counsel at Leica Biosystems, where he advised multiple business units on commercial transactions, contract negotiations, and other legal matters supporting the company's operations and strategic initiatives. Previously, Billy was a corporate associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he represented clients in a wide range of corporate transactions, with a focus on capital markets, including initial public offerings, debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and restructurings, as well as ongoing disclosure and corporate governance matters.
