Rhodri Jones

Rhodri is a European Patent Attorney and Chartered (UK) Patent Attorney who advises innovative companies on the development, protection, and commercialisation of intellectual property. He works closely with emerging and venture-backed companies along with established multinational businesses, helping them build patent strategies that support growth, investment, and market differentiation.

Rhodri's practice encompasses all aspects of patent portfolio development and management, including intellectual property strategy, freedom-to-operate analyses, patentability assessments, and the drafting and prosecution of European, UK, and international (PCT) patent applications. He is also a qualified European Patent Litigator and represents clients in opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office (EPO), helping them protect their key technologies.

Drawing on his engineering and physics background, Rhodri advises clients across a broad range of technologies, specialising in medical devices, computer-implemented inventions, electronics, fluid dynamics, radiotherapy, and optical microscopy. He regularly collaborates with inventors, in-house counsel, and business leaders to develop intellectual property strategies that align with broader commercial and product objectives.
