Jérôme Jouhanneaud, a partner in Goodwin’s Private Equity Group, focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, with a concentration on leveraged buyouts and private equity transactions.

His clients include French and international investments funds, corporate groups and their managers.

Prior to joining Goodwin in 2016, Jérôme was a partner at King & Wood Mallesons (formerly SJ Berwin) in Paris. Previously, he practiced at Clifford Chance and at Mignard, Teitgen, Grisoni & Associes.


Jérôme’s recent representative transactions include advising:

  • Amala Partners in the acquisition of AP Management, an M&A boutique founded in 2005 at the service of entrepreneurs in the IT sector
  • Armen:
    • in its minority investment of up to €35 million in RGREEN INVEST, an independent, mission-driven and B Corp certified investment management company founded in Paris in 2013
    • in its investment in Private Corner, a French digital platform that enables access to private markets investing to individual investors
  • The founders of Armen in its creation and structuration as a European leader of GP stakes transactions
  • B & Capital:
    • in the primary LBO acquisition of Hubency, environmental service provider intended to specialize in delegate waste management
    • in the acquisition of Sports Solutions Makers also known as Spartner Agency, an agency that supports stakeholders in the world of sports in managing their travel and event projects, in France and worldwide
    • in the sale of EVA Group, a French cybersecurity and IT performance firm, to Sopra Steria
    • in the acquisition of Miidex Lighting, a group specialized in the distribution of LED lighting solutions in France and abroad
    • in the acquisition of Nedap France, the major player in distribution and integration of hardware and software high-end solutions to monitor physical access in French market
  • Capza :
    • in the management buyout of Stanwell Consulting Group, a French leader in transformation and development strategy consulting, specialized in Banking, Finance & Insurance
    • in the acquisition of a minority stake in Tevah Systèmes, a major player in the distribution of electronic security systems to professional installers
  • CTH Invest, family office linked to Ferrero, as they entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire Michel et Augustin, a distributor of specialized food intended to serve the gourmet food sectors
  • The founders of Dubbing Brothers, a leading French dubbing company, in their OBO
  • The founders and the management of Sandaya, one of the leading French operators of outdoor accommodation with campsites in France, Spain and Belgium, in the sale of a majority stake in the group from APAX to Infravia
  • The founders of Arlettie, a creator of event-based sales for the most prestigious brands in luxury and fashion, in welcoming CAPZA Transition as a new shareholder
  • The managers of Prenax, a specialist information vendor management company, in the sale of the group to LBO France
  • Vitruvian Partners in the $150 million growth financing of Dental Monitoring, the first company to offer an AI-based solution that empowers dentists and orthodontists to expand their practice into a virtual environment
