Stefan primarily focuses his practice on mergers & acquisitions in the tech space. He also works with founders on entity formation and financing strategy, and has served as outside corporate counsel to various startups. He advises clients in a several industries, including technology, life sciences, and financial services.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Stefan was an associate in the Boston office of Mintz from 2022 to 2024, and in the Toronto office of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in 2021. He was previously a summer associate in the New York office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in 2019, and was an articling student (equivalent of first year associate in the U.S.) in the Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais, LLP, Canada’s largest national law firm.
