Ashley Xixin Kang

Ashley Kang is an associate in Goodwin’s Business Law Department. She joined Goodwin in 2021.

Ms. Kang’s practice focuses on the representation of fund sponsors in the formation, structuring, domestic and international establishment, and ongoing management of private investment fund vehicles, including real estate funds, private equity funds, and venture capital funds.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Ms. Kang was a student attorney of the International Transactions Clinic at New York University School of Law. Ms. Kang has extensive internship experience in both the public and private sector. She worked at several prominent law firms in Asia, a federal district court, as well as United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Ms. Kang is a native speaker of Mandarin and an English-to-Chinese book translator with published work. She has obtained a law degree equivalent to J.D. in China. Ms. Kang is also proficient in Japanese.
