Danit Maor is an associate in Goodwin’s Litigation practice. She joined the firm in 2023 after graduating from American University Washington College of Law. Danit litigates complex civil and intellectual property matters for a wide range of clients.
Danit graduated from Syracuse University in 2018 where she triple majored in Policy Studies, Forensic Science, and Political Science. Danit took two years off in between graduating from Syracuse and starting law school where she worked for a legal aid clinic in Cape Town, South Africa, as a judicial intern to Honorable Ernest F. Hart of the 11th Judicial District of the New York State Supreme Court, and as a researcher at the International Counterterrorism Institute in Israel.
During law school, Danit was a member of the American University Law Review, the Jewish Law Students Association, the Latin American Law Students Association, and founded the Middle Eastern-North African Law Students Association.
While attending law school, Danit interned for the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Division, working with the Organized Crime and Gang Section to prosecute cases under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. She also completed an internship with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Enforcement where she assisted the Foreign Corrupt Practices Unit with prosecution of cases and investigations. Danit also served as a judicial intern for Honorable Fern Flanagan Saddler of the District of Columbia Superior Court.
