Carlos Enrique Martinez Juarez is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Debt Finance practice. Carlos Enrique represents a diverse range of clients in financing transactions including private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, royalty monetization investors, REITS and private and public companies in connection with a variety of secured and unsecured financing transactions, including acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, refinancings, cross-border transactions and royalty and synthetic royalty financings. He has represented clients across a range of industries, including healthcare, software, financial services, pharmaceuticals, media and communications and technology.
Professional Activities
Carlos Enrique is passionate about his pro bono work, regularly representing immigrants in matters with USCIS and the Asylum Office. Carlos Enrique’s pro bono work includes TPS, special immigrant juvenile status and asylum cases.
During law school, Carlos Enrique co-chaired the Youth Deportation Defense Clinic at UCLA Law. He also served as a volunteer with the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) & U-Visa Immigration Clinic, as the senior online editor of the UCLA Law Review, and as external co-chair of the Latinx Law Student Association (LLSA).
