Daniel Mencaroni advises private equity sponsors and investment managers on the formation, structuring, and operation of a broad range of investment vehicles, including buyout, growth, and sector-focused funds. Daniel’s practice spans the full fund lifecycle, from initial structuring and fundraising through ongoing governance, regulatory, and operational matters. Daniel has experience advising on several high-profile fundraises, ranging from emerging manager launches to some of the largest multi-billion-dollar flagship funds in the growth sector, including for established sponsors on repeat fundraising cycles. In addition to sponsor-side work, Daniel represents institutional investors in fund commitments and strategic investments and regularly advises on continuation vehicles, secondary transactions, GP stake deals, funds-of-funds, and separately managed accounts. Daniel counsels clients on sponsor economics and the development of innovative fund structures tailored to evolving market conditions.
Having previously worked as in-house counsel to a global asset manager, Daniel brings commercial judgment and a pragmatic approach to executing complex transactions efficiently and supporting the continued growth of leading investment platforms.
