Gabriella Montes is an associate in Goodwin’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice who represents technology and life sciences companies in complex patent and trade secret disputes. Her work spans district court litigation, International Trade Commission investigations, and matters arising under the Hatch-Waxman Act and the Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act (BPCIA). Gabriella has experience handling technically sophisticated disputes involving electronic display systems, LED lighting technologies, and pharmaceutical products, and contributes across all phases of litigation from discovery through pretrial strategy.

Gabriella represents clients across district court litigation, ITC investigations, and post-grant proceedings involving patent and trade secret disputes. Her work spans technology and life sciences matters, including outdoor electronic displays, LED lighting products, and pharmaceutical litigation under the Hatch-Waxman Act and BPCIA.
Pro Bono
Gabriella maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing clients in §1983 actions and various immigration matters. Gabriella worked with the ACLU of Massachusetts (ACLUM) to file a civil rights lawsuit on behalf of the family of Shayne Stilphen for his wrongful death while in the custody of the Boston Police Department.
