Finnbarr Murphy is a partner in Goodwin’s Life Sciences group. His practice is focused on the representation of issuers and underwriters in public and private securities offerings, and he advises on corporate governance and SEC reporting and disclosure obligations. Finnbarr has experience with a wide variety of capital markets transactions involving US and non-US issuers, including initial public offerings (IPOs) and other equity offerings, convertible offerings, and investment-grade and high-yield debt financings.
Finnbarr also counsels clients on liability management transactions (including tender offers, exchange offers, and consent solicitations), exchange listings (NYSE/Nasdaq), and mergers and acquisitions, including spinoffs, joint ventures, and cross-border transactions. He works with clients across numerous industries, including life sciences, technology, shipping, financial services, retail, media and telecommunications.
