Peter Parkes is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Private Equity and Private Investment Funds practice. Mr. Parkes’ clients include investment managers across a range of strategies, including direct private equity and real estate clients.
Mr. Parkes advises on fund formation, fund restructuring, structuring investment management platforms and carried interest arrangements. He has also advised clients who are looking to invest in fund products across a range of asset classes.
Experience
Prior to joining Goodwin in 2019, Mr. Parkes was a legal associate at Patron Capital, a leading private equity real estate firm investing in Europe, where his work involved various real estate funds, co-investment funds and related carried interest arrangements. He also has experience in relation to various joint ventures and co-investment structures relating to commercial, construction and hospitality platforms across Europe.
