Sierra Perez-Sparks is an associate in the firm’s Litigation department and a member of its Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation practice. She has trial and appellate-level experience across a range of substantive areas, including commercial and employment disputes, environmental torts, constitutional law, and administrative law matters. Sierra has authored and contributed to numerous briefs and dispositive motions in state and federal court, and she has argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and in state trial courts. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, with recent experience in immigration law.
In 2026, Sierra served as a special assistant district attorney for Middlesex County, Massachusetts, where she prosecuted hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases, with a focus on financial crimes. She served as lead counsel in bench and jury trials in multiple district courts and regularly litigated evidentiary and dispositive motions on behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Sierra clerked for the Honorable William J. Nardini of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She also served as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Jeffrey A. Meyer of the U.S. District Court in the District of Connecticut. Before attending law school, Sierra worked for several years as an operations manager.
