Andrew Roeder is a partner in Goodwin’s Private Investment Funds practice and Technology practice. He focuses on advising investment fund sponsors on a wide range of strategic and operational matters, including in connection with the formation, marketing and management of private investment funds, portfolio investment activities, and management and operational issues. Mr. Roeder has significant experience counseling both established and emerging sponsors across a wide range of investment strategies including private equity, growth equity and private credit, as well as assisting sponsors in connection with negotiating and launching separately managed accounts, alternative investment vehicles, co-investment funds and other bespoke investment arrangements. His work ranges from advising established sponsors in connection with multi-billion dollar global fundraising mandates to guiding emerging managers through all aspects of establishing their operations and raising capital.
In addition, Mr. Roeder routinely advises sponsors and senior management on matters relating to strategic product expansion, internal governance, succession planning, economic arrangements, and firm and fund-level credit facilities. Mr. Roeder also counsels fund managers on a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters.
